The guy at the front desk was super sweet and helpful! Super convenient parking too, and was impressed how nice the room and lobby was! beds were really comfy, room relatively clean too and nice it was smoking accessible! easy check in and out, and love the 12 o’clock check out time. super good price for a stay during a major summer holiday!!

The room was clean and smoke free. Whenever I needed something, I would ask the staff at the front desk, and the staff was quite friendly and accommodating; for example, I had forgotten to pack my toothbrush, and the hotel staff provided me with one when I asked if they had any. They also spent time and chatted with my roommate Nick when they weren't busy with other guests. The food at Perry's Cafe was delicious. The staff there was also friendly and professional. The dining area was clean, and the service was quick. :)

Overall my stay at the Howard Johnson was excellent. The pool being open was a big plus I have kids and frequently bring them to A.C. majority of the hotels we stay at always have a reason that the pool is closed. Location was another plus the establishment is close to a mini mall with a supermarket. Just a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk made it convenient when getting around and I love the fact the jitney bus stop is right outside the hotel. Rooms were comfortable and the blackout curtains were heaven sent I prefer to sleep in a dark room so no issues there. The front desk staff were amazing I know requests cannot always be honored but they went out of there way to ensure we had a good stay appreciate you guys I will be back soon.

The hotel was located blocks from Ocean Casino Resort and others. Nothing fancy but clean. Most less expensive hotels have a musty smell, this did not. The two front desk clerks at check in were very friendly and welcoming.

ROOMS ARE ALWAYS CLEAN, FRIENDLY STAFF WHO ALWAYS RECOGNIZES OUR FAMILY, WE HAVE BEEN STAYING HERE OVER 15 YEARS ,WE STAY AT THIS LOCATION AT LEAST 3 TIMES PER YR ON AND OFF SEASON. POOL AREA IS ALWAYS CLEAN, EMPLOYEE IS CONSTANTLY WIPING DOWN RAILINGS, AND WET CHAIRS. PERRYS CAFE CAN BE ACCESSED THRU HOWARD JOHNSON LOBBY, PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE, LOTS OF FOOD FOR PRICE, SERVES BREAKFAST AND LUNCH AND DINNER FOODS, ONLY DRAW BACK IS IT CLOSES AT 3PM DAILY

The room service was friendly and courteous. I had a prompt check-in.. The room was clean all fresh and clean linen the bed was comfortable no lingerie g odors in the air . Nice window view and a safe in the room for your valuables if need be.

When you book a last minute getaway it worth the stay. The property was very decent. It’s a block and a half from the Boardwalk and the beach and arcade. They have a pool it small but also decent my child enjoyed the pool and the room. They have a diner in the lobby and the prices are very decent. The kids enjoyed the food. They take the last walk-in in the diner at 2pm it get crowded because a lot of people go there. I will definitely go back.
